Shook Hill Circle

This Mediterranean-styled home is perched on a hillside and accessed from what would traditionally be considered the back of the house. For it we developed a motor court that is more like an outdoor room than a car collector. A stone bridge crossed a natural spillway and provides a route for the homeowners to retrieve their morning paper. The interior family room extends into a small outdoor courtyard which features stuccoed walls to match the house, custom wooden gates, and an antique armillary sphere from France.
